The Typograpic Society of India invited me to speak in one of their fortnightly Design Lecture Series. I was asked to say a few words that inspired me to venture into the world of typeface design and typography. I was happy to share a bit of history.
The main content of the presentation was about my new multi-script typeface called, Annai MN. I spoke about the challenging, yet exciting, task of harmonizing the design across Latin, Devanagari and Tamil.
The entire talk, along with the Q&A is now in YouTube. The later part of the Q&A gets really interesting.
